John brings diverse experience, dedication, and legal knowledge to each case. The law firm he owns and operates is licensed to practice in Alaska. John promises to provide legal solutions to everyone, and listen to each client's needs to find the right solution.

John grew up as a military child. He was born on a military installation in Frankfurt, Germany. He spent much of his youth in Belgium and graduated from high school in Seoul, South Korea. John went on to join the Air Force and served for 5 years. During his enlistment, John completed a tour at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. After honorably separating from the Air Force, John attended the University of Alaska, Anchorage majoring in Political Science with an emphasis in American government. John completed his studies at UAA with a Master's degree in Public Administration.

While in law school at the University of Oregon School of Law, John participated in both the criminal defense and advanced criminal defense clinics. He won his first DUI trial as a law student. He returned to Alaska each summer during law school to intern and assist Alaska public advocacy offices. After law school, John defended clients charged with criminal offenses as an assistant public defender and later as an assistant public advocate.. With a firm dedication to Alaska and Alaskans, John is who you want in your corner.
